Privacy by default
Gallery Cleaner is built around a single privacy promise: your photos never leave your phone. Every line of classification logic runs locally, on your device's CPU.
- Photos stay on-device. No photo bytes, paths, thumbnails, EXIF, or folder names are transmitted to us or to anyone else.
- Anonymous analytics only. Numeric counts (how many photos in a batch, how many you deleted) help us spot bugs. No user IDs, no device IDs, no PII.
- You control your data. Clear app data anytime to reset every anonymous identifier. Photos remain untouched.
- Ads stay quiet. A single AdMob banner, no pop-ups. On iOS, ads are non-personalised and we never show the App Tracking Transparency prompt. On Android, ad personalisation follows your consent choice — change it anytime from Settings.
- Delete is reversible. Photos move to your device's native trash — 30-day recovery via Photos.app (iOS) or Google Photos / your gallery app (Android).
