The short version. Gallery Cleaner is a free, ad-supported tool that helps you find and delete clutter in your photo library — all on your device. You decide what gets deleted. Deletions go to your device's trash and are recoverable for about 30 days; back up anything you care about, because we are not responsible for photos you choose to delete. The app is provided "as is."
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Deep Forest Lab Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), a private company limited by shares incorporated in Singapore, governing your use of the Gallery Cleaner mobile application and its features (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) and able to form a binding contract. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
Gallery Cleaner helps you find and remove clutter from your photo library — such as blurry, similar, screenshot, QR-code, and low-quality images — using analysis that runs on your device. The App suggests photos and lets you delete the ones you choose. You decide what gets deleted.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal use (including on a device provided by your organization), subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store you obtained it from. You may not:
The App is currently provided free of charge and is supported by advertising served by third parties (for example, Google AdMob). We may add, change, or remove features at any time, including introducing paid features or removing ads. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
Your use of the App also involves services we do not control — including Apple, Google, Google Firebase, and Google AdMob — each governed by its own terms and policies. Your download and use are also subject to the terms of the store you used (Apple App Store or Google Play). If those store terms conflict with these Terms as to your use of the App obtained from that store, the store's terms govern that issue.
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data the App does and does not collect. By using the App, you acknowledge that policy.
The App — including its software, design, branding, the name "Gallery Cleaner," logos, and content (excluding your photos) — is owned by Deep Forest Lab Pte. Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you no ownership rights in the App.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App's suggestions are accurate, that it will identify every unwanted photo or never flag a photo you want to keep, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEEP FOREST LAB PTE. LTD. AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PHOTOS, DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP (WHICH, IF IT IS FREE, IS ZERO) OR USD $10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deep Forest Lab Pte. Ltd. from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may modify or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We may update these Terms; we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the App or store listing. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
These Terms apply while you use the App. You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 4, 8 through 18, and any other provision that by its nature should survive, survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for any dispute arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that:
If you obtained the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if it cannot be, severed — and the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may give you notices in the App or via the store listing; you may send us notices at support@deepforestlab.com. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
